Description : Vidyalakshmi Nambiar (Mamta Mohandas) decides to start a life with her love, Shanavas (Asif Ali), defying the dictates of her family. Shanavas too faces severe opposition from his family members since he is marrying a girl from another religion. Soon they have a daughter, whom they name Laya. However, fate has something else in store for Vidya, and soon she is left stranded in a busy city along with her child. It is here that she comes across an auto driver Preman (Jayaram) who leads her to a different life. She starts living in a colony and gets to meet people who value minds more than money
